Creating a Business from a Pastime.

AG Supply Center, LLC was established in by Marv Koch. At that time, the business provided fertilizer, chemical and seed to local growers. Marv's love for the outdoors, and in particular, in hunting and fishing led him to acquire an FFL License in 1981. Little did he know that a few years later, in 1992, he would discontinue the fertilizer and ag chemical portion of the business, and focus on growing the outdoor sporting goods area of the business. His talents with wood working also led to a specialty wood business... all of which Marv would lead for the next 25 years. 

In 2017, Marv transitioned Petersburg AG Supply Center to his son and grandson, Doug and Mitch Koch. Both share Marv's enthusiasm for the outdoors and will continue the existing business, with some additions, to meet the needs of its customers. 

The store itself is reason enough to stop into Petersburg AG Supply as its walls (and ceiling) are nearly covered with trophy taxidermy mounts that Marv gathered during his 25 years in the Outdoor Sporting Goods business. And chances are, there's a fantastic story behind each and every one. When you shop at Petersburg AG Supply Center, you gain more than quality products, you gain a sense of camaraderie and a mutual respect for all things outdoor recreation.
